Local talent. Global ambition.
The UAE continues to build a future driven by innovation, growth and transformation.
At NORVA, we believe Emirati talent plays an essential role in shaping the organisations of tomorrow.
Building successful UAE National talent strategies requires more than identifying candidates.
It requires understanding aspirations, capabilities and the long-term vision of both individuals and organisations.
From emerging professionals to experienced leaders, we support businesses in creating meaningful opportunities that contribute to sustainable growth.
Because the strongest organisations are built by developing talent that reflects the future they want to create.
Understanding the career proposition
A NAMA and PwC study reported by Emirates News Agency on 2 September 2026 surveyed 691 Emirati women about Sharjah’s private sector. Working hours and compensation were important considerations for 76% and 73% of respondents respectively, while 62% favoured hybrid working. The findings concern this specific group and should not be generalised to all Emirati professionals.

Make development visible from the start
For NORVA, this reinforces the value of listening to individual priorities. Explain the role’s responsibilities, working arrangements and progression path clearly. Pair recruitment with a realistic development plan and regular conversations about learning and contribution. A meaningful opportunity should give someone a reason to grow with the organisation, as well as a reason to join.
